Experience Sifnos
with style and authenticity

In Sifnos, atop a hill in the traditional settlement of Apollonia, painter and printmaker Kiki Voulgareli created Art Houses Sifnos — a stone-built paradise she envisioned as a lasting work of art within the island.

In an amphitheatrical site with old threshing floors, she restored the existing structures with respect for local architecture: the traditional windmill, the dovecote, the houses, and the auxiliary spaces. They were transformed into tasteful, spacious traditional residences in Sifnos that combine authenticity with all modern comforts. One of the buildings also houses Kiki’s art studio, where she draws inspiration from the Aegean landscape.

In every courtyard and corner, an atmosphere unfolds that inspires calm and creativity. The pebble mosaics, stone-built benches, and stone tables framed by Cycladic plants create ideal spots for relaxing, reading, or conversation.

Embracing the hill

The residences unfold across different levels of the hill, linked by stairways, paved courtyards, and flower-filled beds. The terraces embrace the open horizon and offer panoramic views of Apollonia, the surrounding mountains, and the fiery-red sunset over Kamares.

Residences

The residences of Art Houses Sifnos are three distinct guest spaces that marry traditional Cycladic architecture with modern comforts.

Each residence has its own identity, yet they all share the same philosophy: comfort, serenity, and a connection to the Cycladic landscape.
